Duties and responsibilities
Delivery of Sales orders
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner
- Mapping out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients
- Ensuring payment for delivered items upon delivery
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
- Abiding by all traffic laws and county regulations and maintaining a safe record
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Rider
- A valid license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with GPS devices especially google maps
- Knowledge of Nairobi roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to carry packages and luggage
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swahili
- Ability to keep clients and supervisor up-to-date at all times
- Interest in hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports
- A polite and professional demeanor
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
